DAILY?READINGS: Numbers 34 to 35:8; Proverbs 30; Luke 5:1-16

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. Hebrews 2:3

There are various ways in which men may respond to the gospel message. To those who reject it, we warn, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Then, there are those who neglect the salvation God offers—they are indifferent to it—and according to our verse, “they shall not escape” (eternal doom). Unsaved soul reading these words, we plead with you, neither reject or neglect God’s offer of salvation, but receive it through our Lord Jesus Christ, before it is too late. —W. H. Burnett

Time is gliding swiftly by, death and judgment draweth nigh,
To the arms of Jesus fly, be in time. —William. J. Kilpatrick
