DAILY?READINGS: 2 Samuel 22; Jeremiah 6; Ephesians 1:1-14

…who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord? 1 Chronicles 29:5
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

For the tabernacle, the people who were “willing hearted” brought offerings of their possessions for the work (Ex. 36:7). For the temple, willing people were called on to consecrate their service to the Lord. Now, in the church, we are called to willingly offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God. Have you? It’s our reasonable service. —Rex Trogdon

Take my life and let it be, consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my hands, and let them move, at the impulse of Thy love.
