DAILY?READINGS: 1 Kings 2; Jeremiah 10; Ephesians 4:1-16

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Revelation 18:5
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. – Hebrews 10:17

What a contrast! On one hand God remembers the sins of Babylon and will punish her according to her works—double for what she has done. On the other hand, for those who have trusted His Son, Christ Himself has borne their sin’s harsh sting and God remembers them no more. —Janet Fleming

My chains are gone; I’ve been set free
My God, my Saviour has ransomed me;
And like a flood His mercy reigns,
Unending love, amazing grace. —Chris Tomlin
