DAILY READINGS: Numbers 14:1-45; Proverbs 11:1-31; 1 Peter 3:1-22

Cleave to that which is good. Romans 12:9
He (Hezekiah) clave to the Lord, and departed not from following him. 2 Kings 18:6

Hezekiah was a King who clung to the Lord. As a result he was blessed by God and greatly prospered. In fact Hezekiah was the greatest of all the Kings of Judah. There is a great lesson for us here.  If we are to achieve spiritual blessings and prosperity in this life we need to cleave unto Him. —John M. Clegg

Keep us O Lord, O keep us cleaving,
To Thyself and still believing,
Till the hour of our receiving,
Promised joys in heaven. —T. Kelly
