But nothing unclean will ever enter it…but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:27
…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37, KJV
Present-day English has a counterpart for the Bible’s “in no wise.” We say “no way” to express a strong refusal or a firm denial. Our first verse is telling us emphatically that there is “no way” we can enter heaven if our sins are not forgiven. If, however, we come to the Lord Jesus, in sincere trust, there is “no way” He will turn us away! —George Hall
Enough for me that Jesus saves, This ends my fear and doubt;
A sinful soul I come to Him, He’ll never cast me out.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
I had been feeling sorry for myself, having hurt my arm and hand in a sporting accident. As I watched the new boy begin writing the answers on his Sunday School lesson sheet he seemed to be having difficulty in writing. It was then that I noticed his hands. This little child’s hands were badly deformed. Suddenly I was able to appreciate the blessings that God has showered upon me through the years. —Janet Fleming
Thank God for every blessing He brings to me today
For food, for health, for safety, for joys upon life’s way.
But greatest of all blessings would surely have to be,
That Jesus came from heaven, to die for you and me. —Janet Fleming
