Leviticus 16:1-34; Psalm 119:113-144:15; Mark 6:1-29

My son, if thou be surety for thy friend…thou art snared with the words of thy mouth. Proverbs 6:1-2

Think before you speak. God expects the words of our mouth to be true and acted upon as stated. Flippant or meaningless statements have no place in the Christian life. When God says something He means it, He fulfills it, and He expects us to look for its fulfillment. Likewise our words should be true. —D. Pickup

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. —Psalm 19:14
