the ungodly. Romans 5:6
The death of Christ broke Satan’s power and sin’s penalty. By His
indwelling Spirit we experience mastery over the things which once
mastered us. The apostle Paul was absolutely certain about this when
he assured the Christians at Rome and indeed all the faithful in
Christ Jesus, “ sin shall not have dominion over you” (Romans 6.14).
This is not a question of eradication but domination. May we continue
to strive, with His help, as those who overcome. —Drew Craig
