Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Timothy 4:15
What will occupy your thoughts today? Will it be the uncertainty of the future, the crises in the financial and political realms or the wars in which nations are involved? Paul encourages Timothy, “Think on these things.” He also asserts that he should give himself wholly to them. What things does he have in mind for Timothy’s thoughts? Reading, exhortation, doctrine and the nurture of his God-given gift. Our thoughts should be on similar things—things that are pure, honest, lovely and of good report. We should fill our minds with Christ and as we think on Him and His things, we will find those thoughts reflected in our actions. —Roy Hill
May the love of Jesus fill me, as the waters fill the sea;
Him exalting, self abasing, this is victory, this is victory. —K. Wilkinson
