DAILY READINGS: Gen. 36; Psalms 9-10; Matt. 20:17-34
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalms 46:10
We live in a world filled with stress, a world that is unstable in so many ways. But the world is not where we are to look. As believers we need to refocus the eyes of our heart on the only One that gives us true grace and true peace. He loves us with an everlasting love. “His love is as great as His power, and knows neither measure nor end.” We are safe in His keeping and we can trust Him. He is God and we belong to Him. —V. Gaynier
Tis Jesus, the First and the Last, Whose Spirit shall guide us safe home;
We’ll praise Him for all that is past, and trust Him for all that’s to come. —John Newton
