Is this the state of your soul? Are you tired and hungry and thirsting for God’s presence and Spirit to revive and sustain you? Take heart! Jesus has promised not to leave us comfortless (John 14:18). He has promised never to leave us or forsake us (Heb. 13:5). He has promised eternal life to those who overcome (Rev. 2:7). Also, remember the Lord’s words to Paul: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Cor. 12:9).
