Exodus 20:1-26; Psalms 60:1-61:8; Acts 11:1-18
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3
Isaiah received a remarkable and life-changing vision of the Lord. He heard the angelic throng emphasizing the holiness of God. Three times the word “holy” was used. Nothing in Scripture is there by chance and so we ask, why three times as opposed to twice or four times? Is this not a great reminder of the Trinity? Our God is one God but three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and we should ever affirm this central truth of holy Scripture. —Paul Young
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning, our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity! —Reginald Heber
