Paul had an infirmity and he pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from him (2 Cor. 12:8). God’s answer was, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (v 9). We too can be overcome with illness and wonder why the Lord has allowed it to happen.
