2 Kings 13:1-14:22; Jeremiah 49:1-39; Hebrews 13:7-25

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Ps. 100:4 NKJV

In the Old Testament, the Psalms are rich with expressions of thanksgiving, encouraging believers to enter God’s presence with joyful praise. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul frequently emphasizes giving thanks, reminding Christians to be grateful in all circumstances (1 Thess. 5:18). Jesus gave thanks before breaking bread with His disciples (Matt. 26:27). Biblical thanksgiving is not just for abundance, but recognizes God’s continual care and
sovereignty in all aspects of life. —Caroline Webb

Praise to the Lord! Oh, let all that is in me adore Him!
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him!  —Joachim Neander
