DAILY?READINGS: Exodus 22 to 23:9; Psalms 64-65; Acts 12

We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Believers around the planet are keenly anticipating the promised rapture, when living and dead Christians will be summoned to the skies. It will happen when least expected, in the “twinkling of an eye,” the smallest conceivable period of time, but it will happen. For every believer in Christ, that event will signal a change for eternity, “for this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (1 Cor. 15:53). Praise God, it will happen in the “twinkling of an eye.” —Arnot P. McIntee

O child of God, thy lot may be, oft mixed with trial, grief and pain;
Look up, he’ll surely come for thee: He says, “I’ll quickly, come again.” —T. D. W. Muir
