DAILY READINGS: Gen. 44; Ps. 22; Matt . 25:31-46
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. Hebrews 6:19
When an accident wrecked a friend’s car, she was told that she was lucky to have escaped with minor injuries. But God does not even
hint at the word “lucky” in Scripture. Believers struggling against the storms of life need to remember that their life is not left to random chance. Our Lord is in control. Satan may buff et the exterior, but the properly placed anchor of faith keeps us from being driven into a sea of doubt and despair. The Lord keeps our faith, stills the storm to a whisper and guides us safely into the harbour. —Edna Dyck

Wait thou His time; the darkest night shall end in brightest day. —Gerhardt
