Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever
drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst.
John 4:13b-14a
At noon, a weary sinner met the Saviour at Sychar’s well. She came
for physical refreshment but learned of her greater need of the soulsatisfying
salvation Jesus had for her. Are you trying to fi ll the empty
water pot of your life with the pleasures of sin? They have never
satisfi ed and never will. When she met Jesus she left her water pot.
Her spiritual needs had been met, and she went to tell others of the
One who could truly satisfy. Will you accept, by faith, a drink of the
water of life from the Lord Jesus this moment? —Arnot McIntee
