Now retired, Mr. Sheldon was a university administrator and a founding member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals. He has been a Christian for 50 years. Married for 46 years, he lives in Newport, South Wales, where he is a teaching elder at Mountjoy Street Christian Fellowship. His present ministry includes organizing and presenting lectures and Bible Schools at venues in England and Wales.

Robert Craig was born in 1921 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. His parents sent him to Sunday School at the Gospel Hall, and in his teens he came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His first job was as an engineering apprentice with Sirrocco in Belfast. While working there he was mentored in his Christian walk by a group of believers. His love of the Word deepened while he fellowshipped at Victoria Hall in Belfast. It was there that he met his wife Muriel and they were married in 1948. In 1951 the couple moved to Canada where Bob worked with Public Works Canada until retirement. Bob’s final 20 years were spent in fellowship at Bethany Gospel Chapel in Halifax where his teaching and wise counselling were invaluable. Bob was called home in his 90th year, January 21, 2011.

Paul Young comes from Maesteg, South Wales and is married to Alison. He earned his initial degree at the University of Wales and has since completed a Masters degree in Theology through distance learning. Having taught at the Secondary School level for six years, Paul now devotes himself to full time Christian ministry (since 1981). Much of his service takes place at his local church in Maesteg. This includes preaching, teaching, and children’s ministry, along with school visitation. He also travels throughout the United Kingdom and to many countries overseas for ministry.

Paul has participated in a regular radio program with Trans World Radio (Truth for Today) as well as written ten books. He contributes articles to a number of publications. He is also a trustee of Echoes of Service, a support service to overseas church workers.

William Jonker Pell was born August 24, 1897, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Christian parents. Saved at an early age, as a young teen he began hand lettering gospel tracts on scraps from his father`s wallpaper business. Gospel Folio Press was begun in his mother`s parlor with a small hand press. Since then millions of pieces of literature from GFP have spanned the globe. Mr. Pell is best remembered for his gospel passion, a Christ-exalting public ministry, and the well-loved Choice Gleanings Calendar of which he was the founder and editor until his homecall in 1972.

Gary McBride and his wife Gloria were commended to the Lord’s work in 1980. They spent two years in Zambia and upon returning to Canada settled in northern Ontario. For 26 they ministered in the north and helped with the operation of Northland Bible Camp. In 2008 they relocated to southern Ontario. Gary carries on an itinerant ministry at assemblies, conferences and camps. He and his wife Gloria have two married children and five grandchildren.

Dr. Nadia Mikhael was born in Egypt and moved to Canada in 1970. She was married to Dr. Boushra Mikhael for over 47 years until he was called home to heaven in 2012. Together the Mikhaels served the Lord in various ministries in North America and all over the world. They particularly enjoyed hosting the Lord’s people in their home and conducting Bible studies. Nadia is a women’s conference speaker and she enjoys mentoring and discipling young women in the faith. Nadia is a medical doctor who specialized in Pathology. A recipient of many awards for her excellence in teaching, Nadia is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. She has two sons (and daughters-in-love) and three granddaughters with whom she loves spending time.

Henry Allen Ironside (1876-1951) was born into a believing home in Toronto, Canada. After his father’s death, the family moved to California in 1886. Ironside was converted in 1890. After a stint in the Salvation Army (1890-1896), he laboured as an itinerant evangelist and Bible teacher until 1930 when he became the regular preacher at Moody Memorial Church in Chicago. During his residence there, he wrote this book. From 1948 until his death, he returned to his itinerant ministry. Besides sustaining a herculean preaching schedule for most of his active career, he authored more than sixty volumes.

Donald Norbie was born in 1923 in Minnesota. He was saved in 1938. He continued his college education after World War II and serving in the U. S. Navy. After completing his graduate work, Donald and his wife, Marie, were commended to the Lord’s work by their assembly in Wheaton, Illinois in 1949. He taught at Emmaus Bible School for three years. After this, he and his family moved to Oklahoma to evangelize and teach the Bible. In 1970, they moved to Colorado and have lived there ever since. Mr. Norbie continues to be active in evangelism, teaching, and writing. Some of his titles include: Lord’s Supper: The Church’s Love Feast, Parables: Truth Illuminated and Life Is a Mountain: God’s Faithfulness in the Life of Donald Norbie.

Ron Hughes is president of FBH International (Family Bible Hour International) based in St. Catharines, Ontario. He has written hundreds of radio scripts and features which have been broadcast in various languages around the world. In his profession and travels, he has made conversation with university professors and the illiterate, international businessmen and the impoverished, medical doctors and the dying, opera stars and three-chord guitar beginners, the deeply spiritual and atheists, along with hosts of “ordinary” folk. His fascination with people and the situations in which they find themselves has provided him with a wealth of insight.

Warren Henderson was an aerospace engineer and now serves the Lord with his wife Brenda in “full time” ministry. They are commended from Believers Bible Chapel in Rockford, Illinois. Warren is an itinerant Bible teacher and is involved in writing, evangelism, and church planting. He is the author of Be Angry and Sin Not, Behold the Saviour, The Fruitful Vine, The Olive Plants, Glories Seen and Unseen, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Mind Frames, Seeds of Destiny, Your Home: A Birthing Place for Heaven and In Search of God along with many more.
