Desiring to provide some useful assistance and helps for teachers in Sunday Schools, Vacation Bible Schools and Bible Camp work, these outline studies on the parables of our Lord have been prepared. We have sought to give first an exposition of the teaching of each parable, and then an outline of the lesson points. The teacher must understand the spiritual meaning of the similitude of the Lord first of all before seeking to teach it in simplicity to scholars of particular age groups. Our purpose is to furnish the worker among children and youth with an understanding of the instruction of each lesson and the main points to emphasize in teaching it; we have not aimed at any expanded commentary of these parables.
