Description

The Sequel To A Man Called Sakuunda.

The Logan Story is a book that needs to be read by every serious Christian, especially those considering service for the Lord. As young Christians, Wallace and Ruth determined in their hearts to give their lives in service for their Lord and Saviour. They had a sincere love for lost souls and wanted to share the glorious Gospel of the grace of God with everyone possible. Their service started in Buffalo, New York, later leaving for Central Africa in 1923.

They served the Lord faithfully for 46 years until Wallace was promoted home to Glory in 1969. Their family continued to serve the Lord as missionaries and servants of the Lord. Over the many years there were challenges, difficulties and discouragements but their trust and confidence in their Master who provided, preserved, and protected them and their family was the foundation of their continued service.

Many of the stories of God’s faithfulness were preserved by family members who received letters from the mission field telling of these extraordinary experiences. These were collected and arranged by David and Ruth Ann Logan with the assistance of other family members who still serve the Lord as missionaries.

One of the verses that had real meaning for them was: “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” (Prov. 29:18). On the cover you will see the picture of the Gospel Bus that was used for special Gospel efforts throughout Africa. This was only one example of the vision of Mr. Logan. He could use the Gospel Bus to carry supplies and have a base for the family during the journeys to different locations.

The title and sub-title tell the reason for this book, “What God hath wrought through the lives of Wallace and Ruth Logan”. They were just ordinary people willing to work for the Lord and see extraordinary accomplishments from the hand of God.
