Mr. Fred Hamilton was born in England in 1907 in an unsaved family. When he started in business, his employer provided him Christian books, which led to his conversion…no wonder he was always interested in literature! His concern for missions grew and when he accepted a position with a division of United Nations, he travelled widely. He was then assigned to a position at the U.N. headquarters in New York, where he served for 25 years until his retirement.

During these years he was in fellowship with believers who meet at Valley Bible Chapel, New Jersey. He also labored with Christian Missions in Many Lands, as Director and Vice-President. Hamilton ministered the Word and wrote two books: Why? and Back to Basics series. This, his last volume on the book of Hebrews, published posthumously, will be a blessing to many.
