DAILY READINGS: 1 Chronicles 24-25; Ezekiel 22; John 8:12-30

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.  Colossians 1:13

Some people think that after conversion, a believer may need to be “delivered” from demons which have controlled him before he trusted Christ. God’s Word tells us that when we embraced Christ by faith, God delivered us (past tense) from the power of darkness. It is an accomplished fact and needs no human intervention or post salvation “deliverance ministry” to add to what Christ has already done. Rather it needs the Gospel to be clearly taught. In Christ we have complete deliverance.  —David Croudace

Now we are free—there’s no condemnation,
Jesus provides a perfect salvation. —Philip Bliss
