When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fi ft y shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them. Joshua 7:21a
Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is fi nished, bringeth forth death. James 1:14-15

Achan was tempted and drawn away by his own lust. His lust conceived and brought forth sin and by the time his sin was fi nished, he and his family were dead. What a miserable indictment! No one forced him to this. He chose it himself. There are severe consequences when it comes to dabbling in sin. Flee from it. —Craig Funston
