Looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! John 1:36
In the first instance, John draws our thoughts to the work of Christ “which taketh away the sin of the world”. The second time, he calls on us to simply “Behold the Lamb of God,” this time pointing to His worth. Behold Him, adore Him, delight in His person!
