DAILY READINGS: Exodus 31; Psalms 79-80; Acts 18:24 to 19:20

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time
past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days
spoken unto us by His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all
things, by whom also He made the worlds. Hebrews 1:1-2

In dispensations past, God has repeatedly spoken to mankind by
various means. Now, fi nally, and lastly, He speaks to us via His Son.
He will not speak by another means. Man’s only hope and salvation,
is found in God the Son. All judgement is committ ed to the Son. The
heavenly Father points only to the Son, saying, “Hear Him.” Your
eternal prospect depends on your relationship to God the Son. Have
you responded to Him? —Doug Kazen

Come to the Saviour, make no delay; here in His word He’s shown us the way;
Here in our midst He’s standing today, tenderly saying, “Come!” —George F. Root
