DAILY READINGS: Leviticus 24; Psalms 137-138; Mark 9:33-50
He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? Go and see. And
when they knew, they say, Five, and two fi shes. And He commanded
them to make all sit down by companies upon the green
grass. Mark 6:38-39
More than 5,000 needed to eat, but His disciples had no idea if they
had suffi cient resources. When they were prepared to give all they
had, He ordered the crowd to sit. Have you ever felt, with your limited
resources, you cannot reach those for whom you have a burden?
Confess your limitations to Him and await his command for them
to sit down. Then He will display His power. The burden and inadequacies
are ours. The unlimited supply is His. —Arnot McIntee
