DAILY READINGS: Num. 1; Psalms 144-145; Mark 11:27 to 12:17
I will praise Thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew
forth all Thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in Thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. Psalm 9:1-2
These verses are full of things the psalmist “will” do. He will sing.
He will praise. He will rejoice. Here is one who is caught up with
the Lord and overfl owing with praise for Him. When we draw near
to God, waiting on Him, it is a certainty that our relationship will
deepen with Him. It will permeate our lives so much that we will
sing praises to the Lord and long to tell others of His marvelous
works. We will rejoice and be glad in Him and our hearts will worship
His Name. —Jerry Proctor
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, to His feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven. Who like me, His praise should sing?
