DAILY READINGS: Numbers 5; Proverbs 2; Mark 14:27-52
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God
created man, in the likeness of God made he him. Genesis 5:1
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the
son of Abraham. Matthew 1:1
1 Corinthians 15:22 tells us that “In Adam all die,” so death has exercised
its relentless dominion over all mankind from Adam’s day
to the present, for we are all born with his sinful nature. However,
there is another generation that supercedes Adam’s, and that is Jesus
Christ’s. It is a generation we enter into by faith in Him. The
books will be opened someday. Where will you find your genealogy?
