For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begott en Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. John 3:16
What was the greatest miracle ever? Our fi rst response might be
creation. That answer would be wrong. It was comparatively simple
for our omnipotent God to speak a word and bring the worlds into
existence. But when it came to redeeming our souls, a simple word
would not suffi ce. God had to give His only beloved Son as a sacrifi
ce on Calvary. We owe Him everything and thus our hearts overfl
