DAILY READINGS: Deut. 31:14 to 32:14; Hos. 1; Luke 17:1-19

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalm 32:7

We have been delivered and so the Christian’s life should be full of
songs—songs of deliverance. Heaven will be fi lled with singing (Rev.
5:9). Christianity was heralded into the world on the wings of the
angel’s praise (Lk. 2:13), and because of Calvary, multiplied millions
have been enabled to sing redemption’s song who otherwise would
have remained in the misery of their sins. The world sings many
songs, but only a believer in Christ can sing a true song of deliverance.
If you have no Saviour; you have no song. —W. Ross Rainey

I have a song that Jesus gave me, it was sent from heaven above;
There never was a sweeter melody, ‘tis a melody of love. —E. M. Roth
