DAILY READINGS: 2 Chronicles 1-2; Ezekiel 27; John 10:1-18

But seek ye fi rst the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and
all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

There are so many things to do in everyday life that it oft en helps to
set priorities. Otherwise, important things may not be achieved. This
is also true in our spiritual lives. We should prioritize the things that
will enable us to progress: the things of God, like the apostles’ doctrine,
fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers. If we do not
prioritize these things Satan may easily distract us by keeping us
busy with the trivial things of life. So, today let us set priorities and
by God’s grace see them through. If we do so, we have the promise
that all other things will most surely be added unto us. —Roy Hill

Seek ye fi rst the kingdom; not the things of earth.
Priceless are the treasures of immortal worth. —Eliza E. Hewitt
