DAILY READINGS: Leviticus 9; Psalms 109-110; Mark 1:21-45
Then came Peter to Him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother
sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Matthew 18:21
When we ask, like Peter did, “How many times do I have to keep
forgiving that brother that keeps hurting me?”, we have to let God
bring us back to the place of being forgiven. We need to remember
that we can only forgive because we were first forgiven by God. Our
debt was not a mere hundred pence, but an innumerable amount.
Only then can we let go of the wrongs done against us and love those
who have hurt us. —Jason Bechtel
When others sin against you,
Be ready to forgive;
Since you have been forgiven,
With them in peace now live. —Robert E. Smith
