DAILY READINGS: 1 Samuel 18:6 to 19:7; Isaiah 59; Romans 4:23 to 5:11
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 1:2-3
Before digital photography, pictures were taken using film. Images captured by the camera were developed by a chemical process completed in a “dark room.” Interestingly it’s in the darkroom of life’s trials that God develops in us Christ-like qualities such as patience and faith. When God allows us to undergo trials and we submit to His perfect will for our life, an amazing transformation happens and the person of Christ is formed in us. May it be so. —Jerry Proctor

That I lose not faith’s sweet consolation offered me within Thy holy Word.—Lina Sandell Berg
