DAILY READINGS: Esther 7-8; Malachi 2:10 to 3:6; Rev. 21:9 to 22:5
And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he
said, A rod. Exodus 4:2
Nyamuzala and Nyalute lost their husbands and in their old age
were sent back to their relatives. They knew Christ but no-one else in
that village of darkness did! Leaning on their sticks they spent their
days staggering to each house, individually telling every person the
Gospel. Today there is an assembly of God’s people there. Are we
using what God has given us to further His kingdom? Moses used a
shepherd’s crook. David used a sling. Paul handed his life over to the
Lord and was executed! What is in your hand? Have you given it to
God? —David Croudace
Take my love, my God I pour at Thy feet it’s treasure store;
Take myself and I will be ever, only, all for Thee. —F. R. Havergal
