DAILY READINGS: Ex. 2:23 to 3:22; Psalms 32-33; Matt. 28

She hath washed my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head… this woman since the time I came hath not ceased to kiss my feet… this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Luke 7:44-46

Simon the Pharisee invited the Lord Jesus to his house. In assessing whether Jesus was a prophet he used the little word, if, doubting the Lord's credentials. There was another person present, a woman who did not say a word. Her actions spoke volumes about her estimation of the Lord's worth. Jesus said of her, she has washed my feet with tears, she hath not ceased to kiss my feet and hath anointed my feet with ointment. She demonstrates a true heart of worship. May our hearts be the same. — S. D. B.

He washed my eyes with tears, that I might see;
For that was the only way, His glory could be revealed to me. —B. Gaither
