DAILY READINGS: Exodus 6:14 to 7:25; Psalm 37; Acts 2:22-47

Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 1 Timothy 1:13

The Apostle looked back on what he had done and then thanked God that He is indeed merciful and willing to pardon. Dear reader, whatever your past circumstances of life, there is a God who is merciful and willing to forgive. If you have not done so, may you experience that mercy that only He can give today. —John M. Clegg

Can my God His wrath forbear me,
The chief of sinners spare? —C. Wesley
