DAILY READINGS: Judges 6; Isaiah 27; 1 Corinthians 6
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:5
The darkness of evil has never been able to overpower or extinguish the Light which came down from heaven. Great men and women have burst brightly upon the world's stage, but eventually their inadequacies and failures surface and their brilliance fades. He never diminishes! The Light of the world is Jesus, and when we walk in His Light we find our life is in the radiance and warmth of its heavenly glow.—Milton Haack

Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night;
Praise the Lord, I saw the light! —H. Williams
