Kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation. 1 Peter 1:5
It is grace that saves us. Through faith in the Person and work of Christ, we are saved from our sins. But it is grace that keeps us too. In our own strength we would never be able to maintain ourselves. In the Lord’s goodness, He gives us divine enablement to meet the burdens and challenges of the day. May we daily depend upon the grace of God and not lean on our own strength and wisdom. —Mark Fenn
Keep us, Lord, O keep us cleaving,
To Thyself, and still believing,
Till the hour of our receiving;
Promised joys in heaven. —Thomas Kelly
