DAILY?READINGS: 2 Chronicles 27-28; Ezekiel 44; John 20:1-18

He that hateth Me hateth My Father also. John 15:23

Several religions give Jesus respect as a man or a lesser god, but fail to honour Him as the Father’s equal. Others deny Him outright as a deceiver or a sorcerer, while still affirming their supposed belief in God. This verse makes it apparent, however, that one’s attitude to the Son is reflective of their feeling for the Father. If they love the Son, the Father will receive them as His own. If they abhor Christ, His Father will reject them. Do you worship the true God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? —Keith Keyser

O God, we see Thee in the Lamb, to be our hope, our joy, our rest;
The glories that compose Thy name, standing engaged to make us blest.—Isaac Watts
