DAILY?READINGS: Judges 11:29 to 12:15; Isaiah 32; 1 Cor. 10:14 to 11:1

The heavens declare the glory of God; The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.    Psalm 19:1, 7a, 14

Psalm 19 is a wonderful psalm of communication. God speaks in three ways. First, God speaks from the heavens through the stars and sun. Then He speaks through the Scriptures in His precepts and law. Lastly, He speaks through His saints. No wonder David prayed as we should, too, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer” (Ps. 19:14).    —Rex Trogdon

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.
Take my lips, and let them be, filled with messages for Thee.
—Frances R. Havergal
