The captain of a ship once explained to me how he was able to see at night when his boat was miles from land. “The idea is to make the ship as invisible as possible. The less you see of the ship, the more you can see of the moon and stars.” Isn’t that the case in our own lives, too? The less we see of ourselves, the more we see of Christ.
