This word “how” is translated “by what means” in John 9:21 and Acts 4:9. God is not only interested in what we do, He is interested in how we do it. At the Judgment Seat of Christ, it doesn’t seem that the results of our service will be the Master’s focal point, but rather the means by which we achieved them. God gives the increase; our part is to do His work in His way. —Rick Morse
