Are you confused by the many choices, voices and temptations that call out to us today? Meditate on God’s word. Memorize it. Ponder and dwell on its meaning and application to your life. God has promised a special blessing to those who take time to know His Word (v. 3). He also reminds us that failing to do so will result in disaster (vv. 4-5). A Christian will only grow spiritually if he is firmly rooted in God’s Word. Don’t let the winds of differing doctrines and beliefs confuse you. Know God’s Word for yourself; it will bring blessing to you and to others as well! —Deborah Manera
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.
