DAILY?READINGS: Leviticus 7:11-38; Psalm 107; Acts 28:17-31

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Psalm 112:7

Jesus said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation” (John 16:33). We have all found this to be true. But amidst the calamities of this world we have a wonderful refuge “under the shadow of [His] wings” (Ps. 17:8), and an abiding assurance in God’s Word. So let us fix our heart, and determine to trust, sing, and give praise even during trials. —D. Pickup

When the road is rough and steep, fix your eyes upon Jesus,
He alone has pow’r to keep, fix your eyes upon Him;
Jesus is a gracious Friend, one on whom you can depend,
He is faithful to the end, fix your eyes upon Him.
