How do we view and value the local church’s prayer meeting? Is it an essential priority or an occasion of little importance? We learn from verse 12 of this chapter that “many were gathered together praying”. It
was well attended! Their praying was earnest and persevering. It was specific and concentrated. United prayer resulted in heavenly intervention. Chains were loosed, doors and iron gates were opened!
