DAILY READINGS: 1 Kings 10:1-29; Jeremiah 18:1-23; Philippians 3:1-4:1

They have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel 22:26

In this verse, God condemns Israel’s priests who were violating His laws, yet are we any better today? As God’s children, do our lives show the difference between holy and unholy, the clean and the unclean? Or have we been so desensitized by the world’s standards that we can no longer see a difference? “As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation” (1 Pet. 1:15). —E. V.

By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see. —William D. Longstaff
