DAILY READINGS: 2 Kings 23:1-37; Lamentations 3:1-66; 1 Timothy 6:1-21

And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord… Howbeit the high places were not taken away: as yet the people did sacrifice and burnt incense on the high places. 2 Kings 14:3-4

Compromise is the unfortunate downfall of many a Christian. We start out on the right path—but pressure from around us and discouragement from within cloud our vision and sully our path. Many a flourishing life has been choked by weeds of compromise. Don’t let that become your experience. Let’s stick to the narrow path of God’s Word—without compromise. Then we’ll be true examples of His grace to a world that so desperately needs this! —Deborah Manera
