These two words give us different thoughts. From verse eight, “knowledge” is the act of learning; from verse ten, “know” is the result of a personal experiential relationship. The learning of Christ promotes a hunger for deeper shared experiences of our life with Him. The more we learn about Christ, the more we will desire to experience Christ in us. —Sam Thorpe, Jr.
