Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul. Hebrews 6:19
As I edit the 2021 Choice Gleanings, we are in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. One remarkable outcome of this event is the way it has exposed the fragility of our modern world. Humanity likes to feel that it is in control, but as the coronavirus has swept across the world that illusion has been shattered. Markets crashing, medical resources stretched to the breaking point, political finger pointing, lives upended, and lives ended, all by an organism too small to be seen and that does not even know what it is doing. In all of this dark distress, the message of the gospel has shone ever brighter. Jesus Christ and His finished work offer the only hope for a world filled with so much uncertainty. —S. McEachern

“Ye are the light of the world.” Go! Shine for Me. —Author Unknown
