Deuteronomy 7:12-8:20; Ecclesiastes 9:11-10:20; Luke 8:40-56

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus thoughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

We need to remember that the word “all” in the Scriptures means what it says! The Greek source word, “pas” denotes “all, every, always, thoroughly.” Let us come to Him, “in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him” (Eph. 3:12), and expect Him to do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.” —E. C. B.

Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer,
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father’s throne,
Make all my wants and wishes known. —W. W. Walford
