Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
In this exceedingly self-centred age we have a holy responsibility to serve one another (Gal. 5:16), prefer one another (Rom. 12:10), pray for one another (Jas. 5:16) and bear one another’s burdens. These are a few of the “one another” commands in the New Testament that bring blessing to others and to us as we give our lives for the Lord’s glory. By helping share the load of a fellow brother and sister in the Lord, we are walking in the steps of the One who loved us and gave Himself for us. —Mark Kolchin
Living for Jesus, a life that is true,
Striving to please Him in all that I do;
Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free,
This is the pathway of blessing for me. —Thomas Chisholm
